Title: Heavy Commercial & Industrial Electrical Foreman(Travel / Iowa Projects)

Quality Plus Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Foreman to lead crews on heavy commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout the Iowa area and on travel assignments. This role is ideal for an experienced field leader who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and has experience coordinating work with General Contractors (GCs) on large-scale projects.
Candidates with data center and/or semiconductor construction experience are strongly .
As a key member of the field leadership team, you will oversee daily operations, maintain safety and quality standards, coordinate manpower and materials, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership
- Lead daily safety efforts and ensure all crew members follow site safety requirements
- Conduct toolbox talks and maintain compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety standards
- Coordinate with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams as needed
- Crew & Field Coordination
- Supervise and direct electricians and apprentices on-site
- Coordinate manpower, daily work assignments, and production goals
- Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades
Project Execution
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure installations are completed according to code, schedule, and quality expectations
- Assist with scheduling workflow and maintaining project momentum
- Support change order tracking and field documentation
- Resource & Material Management
- Coordinate tools, equipment, and material usage on-site
- Ensure materials are organized and available to crews as needed
- Communicate shortages or procurement needs to project leadership
Quality Control & Mentorship
- Maintain high-quality workmanship standards
- Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced electricians
- Hold crews accountable for productivity, workmanship, and professionalism
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete daily reports and communicate project updates to leadership
- Document progress, manpower, delays, and field changes
- Assist with maintaining accurate project records
Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Foreman or leadership role within heavy commercial or industrial electrical construction
- Experience working with General Contractors (GCs) required
- Data center and/or semiconductor project experience strongly
- Experience in industrial facilities, power plants, chemical plants, or mission-critical environments is a plus
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems and installations
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
- Understanding of jobsite safety standards and construction coordination
Leadership & Communication
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to solve problems quickly and keep projects moving efficiently
Certifications & Requirements
- OSHA certification
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must pass a background check
