High level Safety Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in safety leadership on large construction projects (Data Centers)and will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, reducing risk, and fostering a culture of safety across all job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs.

• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.

• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.

• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure safety requirements are met.

• Track, report, and analyze safety performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

• BCSP Certification (CHST, CSP, STSC, or equivalent).

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, and other applicable regulations.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective measures effectively.

• Proficient in safety documentation and reporting.
