HPC Data Center Engineer (GoLang) - Quant Trading

A leading quantitative trading fund is expanding its Trading Infrastructure team in the US and is looking for an experienced HPC Data Center Production Engineer to build and own the automation and tooling powering its HPC data-center operations.

\n

\n

This is a development-heavy infrastructure role sitting at the intersection of software, HPC, networking and physical data-center infrastructure.

\n

\n

You’ll work on:

\n

• Automating the provisioning and lifecycle management of servers, switches, PDUs, CDUs and environmental sensors

\n

• Building tooling for power, cooling and capacity planning

\n

• Developing outage simulation and reliability tooling

\n

• Integrating telemetry and monitoring across data-center infrastructure

\n

• Building production-grade automation, APIs and operational tooling

\n

• Working closely with HPC Engineering, Planning and Operations

\n

• Using AI tools extensively across development, debugging and operational workflows

\n

\n

Looking for:

\n

• 5+ years in production engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE or HPC environments

\n

• Strong Go/Golang and Python experience

\n

• Deep Linux and systems knowledge

\n

• Experience with hardware provisioning and lifecycle management

\n

• Familiarity with IPMI, BMC, Redfish, SNMP or vendor APIs

\n

• Strong networking fundamentals — L2/L3, VLANs, BGP, Arista/Cisco

\n
