Position Summary
As part of the local HR leadership team, the primary focus of this position is for Sales and supporting functions, providing key HR support to drive the success of the business by partnering with function head to align human resources strategies with business objectives. Leads and executes HR initiatives for sales, and back-office teams, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Partnership and Strategy:
- Collaborates with sales and other back-office leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Provides insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
- Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs.
Talent Acquisition:
- Understands hiring needs and requirements with deeper understanding about business, organization and ideal talent profile; ensures the creation and maintenance of accurate job descriptions and position qualifications.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and recruit top talent for supported functions’ positions; Develops and executes recruitment strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Explores diverse channels to search candidates within industry and make cold call for all potential candidates and build up talent pools.
- Handles talent mapping and necessary analysis for talent pipeline.
- Researches, maintains and develops recruiting best practices, methods and processes.
- Proactively builds sourcing strategies and vendor networks to assure the ability to source the most appropriate talent within industry just in time.
- Makes regular talent market report and analysis within our industry by regions, which will provide talent selection suggestions for hiring department.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems and processes for supported teams.
- Coach and support managers in conducting goal setting, performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees. Identify and promote opportunities for employee development and growth.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Collaborate with management to design and implement competitive incentive packages for sales teams.
Talent Management and Learning Development:
- Identifies, selects and develops talent within each department; leads talent review and succession planning processes to build talent pipeline; coaches and advises managers on employee development goals.
- Develops and implements annual training programs for supported functions.
Employee Relations:
- Acts as a point of contact for employees and management regarding HR-related inquiries, issues, and concerns.
- Resolve conflicts and manage employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Employee Engagement:
- Develops and executes initiatives to foster a culture of engagement and belonging among supported teams.
- Conducts regular employee pulse surveys and engages in open dialogue with employees to address concerns and identify areas for improvement.
Risk Management:
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to HR practices.
- Identifies and mitigates potential HR related risks and develop policies and procedures to address them.
- Collaborates with the legal department to address HR-related legal matters.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR, with a proven track record in sales functions.
- Track record of demonstrated success in talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, coaching and counseling, employee involvement, change/culture management, etc.
- Possesses deep understanding and insights of cooling industry; has industry mapping resources and capabilities is .
- Proven track record of building HR functions in high-growth companies with experience in technology or engineering-focused startup scaling from early stage to mature organization .
- Strong background in organizational design and
- Strategic workforce planning and organizational design expertise
- Ability to build and manage rapid team expansion
- Demonstrated success in building and optimizing HR systems and processes
- Experience with high-volume recruitment and scaling strategies
- Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders during rapid growth
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS system.
- Excellent understanding of HR laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
