Human Resource Coordinator
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salary
Reports to: Human Resources Business Partner
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Location: Fort Worth, TX

Summary
The human resource coordinator helps with the overall administration and coordination of the human resource function. This performs duties at the administrative level in all the following functional areas: employee relations, recruiting, training and development, benefits administration, and HRIS data entry and general office tasks. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.
Essential Functions
- Responds to general inquiries regarding benefits, timecards, etc. from employees and leadership at various levels of the organization.
- Facilitates activities related to recruitment, including job posting, candidate sourcing and coordinating assessments, interviews, requests for background checks and drug screens and/or results.
- Oversees and Coordinates the new hire and onboarding processes, including preparation and presentation review of company policies and benefit plans and collection and processing of new hire paperwork.
- Assist with maintaining training files.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Assist in the Exit Interview process and database.
- Performs audits of employee files as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of employees’ special events.
- Maintains the communication board for the Manufacturing Facility, to include SEA’s Internal Careers, Weekly Attendance Report, etc.
- Conducts weekly reporting of records for Employee List, Time-Off Balances, etc.
- Performs general clerical duties to include filing, copying, maintaining, tracking, mailing, and ordering Human Resources materials, etc.
- Administers policies, procedures, and programs relating to all aspects of human resource activity.
- Assures compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as regulations from other applicable agencies.
- Organizes, updates, and maintains personnel files; prepares and manages HR documents, and performs data entry for the HRIS (ADP) system software.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position operates out of a Manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require occasional weekend work.
Required Education and Experience
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of HR/office experience.
- Proficient in Excel.
Education and Experience
- An associate degree in a related discipline from an accredited university.
- ADP Workforce Now experience.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
