As we continue to grow our team and operations, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to join us onsite and take ownership of our day-to-day HR functions.

The Role
\n
The Human Resources Manager will serve as the primary onsite HR resource for our employees and leadership team. This person will support the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through employee relations, benefits, compliance, performance management, and offboarding.
\n
We are looking for someone who is approachable and employee-focused, while also being comfortable enforcing policies, handling sensitive situations, and advising managers on HR best practices. Because ScaleWRX operates in a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment, the ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and working closely with office, production, and field employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and new-hire .
- Manage employee relations matters, including coaching, documentation, corrective action, and workplace investigations.
- Partner with managers and leadership on performance management and employee development.
- Administer employee benefits and assist employees with enrollment and benefit-related questions.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure required documentation is completed and retained.
- Manage and maintain company policies and the employee handbook.
- Support payroll administration and coordinate employee changes, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related information.
- Oversee leave administration, including FMLA and other applicable federal and state leave requirements.
- Manage workers' compensation and workplace injury documentation in coordination with management and insurance partners.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support HR compliance as the company operates and employs team members in multiple states.
- Assist with I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain HR systems and employee information.
- Track HR metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Help develop scalable HR procedures as the company continues to grow.
- Foster a positive, professional workplace culture and serve as a trusted resource for both employees and management.

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience independently handling employee relations and HR compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field , but not required; equivalent relevant HR experience will be considered.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience handling employee relations and sensitive/confidential matters.
- Experience with benefits administration, onboarding, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, skilled trades, or a similar workforce is strongly .
- Multi-state HR experience is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms; Rippling experience is a plus.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and follow issues through to completion.
- Comfortable working in a growing company where processes are continuing to evolve.
