Mobile HVAC Engineer – East London\n\nSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE\n\nPackage: Van, Overtime, Call-out\n\nPermanent | Full Time | Monday–Friday | 08:00–17:00\n\nOverview\n\nI’m working with a respected, forward-thinking facilities management business that blends engineering expertise with a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability and workplace experience. Their focus is on delivering reliable, data-led building services while supporting long-term customer partnerships.\n\nThey have an excellent opportunity for a Mobile HVAC Engineer to join their technical team, supporting sites across East London, broadly covering the Dagenham, Bexleyheath and Dartford areas.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a wide range of heating, cooling and associated building systems across commercial environments, including some critical settings.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Looking After\n\nConduct routine servicing of HVAC systems, ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.\n\nDiagnose and resolve faults across chillers, split systems, air handling units and ventilation plant.\n\nMonitor and adjust control systems such as BMS where required.\n\nProvide swift and effective responses to unplanned breakdowns, keeping downtime to a minimum.\n\nWork in line with all relevant Health & Safety procedures and promote a safe working culture on every site.\n\nRecord all actions, parts used and site findings clearly within service and maintenance documentation.\n\nMaintain a tidy and professional approach to tool use, vehicle stock and site presence.\n\nSupport an out-of-hours on-call rota when scheduled.\n\nLiaise with site teams and supervisors to keep them updated on work progress and technical issues.\n\nAssist with additional building services tasks when requested by management or the client.\n\nWho You Are\n\n * At least 3 years experience working in the United Kingdom\n\n * \n\n Experienced in HVAC, refrigeration or mechanical/electrical maintenance.\n\n * \n\n NVQ/C&G Refrigeration qualification (or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n F-Gas / refrigerant handling certificate.\n\n * \n\n Electrically competent or fully qualified electrically.\n\n * \n\n Background in critical environments (such as data centres) is helpful but not essential.\n\n * \n\n Understanding of Permit to Work processes.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of BMS systems is an advantage.\n\n * \n\n Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.\n\n * \n\n Health & Safety trained or willing to complete required training.\n\nSalary & Package\n\n * \n\n Up to £50,000 DOE\n\n * \n\n Company van + fuel card\n\n * \n\n Overtime availability\n\n * \n\n Call-out allowance (£125 + 4 hours)\n\nBenefits Include:\n\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nOption to purchase additional holiday\n\nEnhanced maternity & paternity policies\n\nReferral bonuses\n\nInternal rewards and recognition programme\n\nTraining, qualifications and clear progression routes\n\nFlexible benefits (shopping, dining, gym, insurance, car leasing and more)\n\nBike to Work scheme\n\nPaid volunteering days\n\nMedicash health plan (dental, optical, physio & wellbeing)\n\nEmployee Assistance Programme\n\nIf you are keen to apply for this position and match all the qualifies and experience required, Please apply with your most up to date CV alongside current contact number and we will be in touch
