Aegis is partnered with a growing industrial manufacturing company in Itasca, IL looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to support custom automation and machine builds. This role is heavily focused on machine wiring, control panels, and PLC wiring for large-scale industrial equipment and data center projects.

This is a fast-paced, project-driven environment with strong long-term work, consistent overtime, and a stable backlog of new builds.

What You’ll Do

  • Wire custom machinery, control panels, and electrical enclosures
  • Perform PLC wiring and assist with automation systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control circuits
  • Install conduit and route wiring to spec
  • Work closely with mechanical assembly and engineering teams
  • Ensure electrical systems meet safety and code requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in manufacturing or machine build
  • Strong background in machine wiring and PLC wiring
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical prints
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems (motors, drives, panels)
  • Comfortable working on your feet and supporting long hours when needed
  • High school diploma or GED
