The Industrial Sanitation Worker provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned production area. The designated area is in a production facility. Duties may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and operating a walk-behind scrubber. Other duties may include cleaning oil drip pans and wiping the outside of production equipment. Must be flexible in duties assigned by a supervisor.
3rd shift schedule- 4pm- 2:30am CST Mon-Saturday
1st shift schedule- 5am- 2:30pm CST Mon-Sunday
Duties and Responsibilities: PROCESS CLEANERS
Perform all functions of sanitation in the Plant, trash removal, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping, and detail cleaning
Maintain and clean work all work areas throughout the entire plant.
The Manager may assign various other sanitation duties
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and supervisors.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, and management.
Ability to work independently and/or in a group, with minor supervision
Self-motivator
Some knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO),
Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals (Training will be provided)
The work environment is indoors with noise levels ranging from moderate to various areas requiring hearing protection (provided).
Perform other duties as assigned.
