Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Infrastructure and Support Services Engineer to help lead the design, implementation, and management of complex infrastructure across diverse environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in Infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity , and optimize system performance. As a key member of our technical team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure, supporting business growth and operational excellence.
This is a Fully Remote Position - This position is a Regional Role, and you must reside within 80 Miles of Reading, Pennsylvania to travel to regional customers.
Responsibilities
- Help Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-wide network infrastructure including LAN, WAN , and data center networks to ensure high availability and performance.
- Help Manage and configure network security devices such as Cisco and SonicWALL firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and processes to safeguard organizational assets.
- Oversee system administration tasks on various operating systems such as Windows Server, and various Linux distributions to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus; perform regular security audits; and develop mitigation strategies to address potential threats.
- Meet with Clients and Stakeholders regularly to ensure their infrastructure needs are met and Clients are satisfied.
- Help Lead network installation projects involving Cisco routers/switches, Meraki devices, as well as network monitoring tools and manage remote access software for secure connectivity.
- Help Support Microsoft 365 Environments
- Help Support Advanced Microsoft 365 Services
- Maintenance of Azure Active Directory environments including Policies
- Help Maintain Microsoft 365 Environments
- Help with Monitoring of Network and Desktop Environments
- Assisting on IT Projects as required
- Working with Clients and Vendors to support applications and environments
- Help with Deployment of Network Infrastructure
- Deployment of Infrastructure improvements on Client environments
- Leading initiatives for researching and deploying new Infrastructure Services.
- Coordinating various IT Operations for Clients
- Provide guidance to your teammates as a member of the team
- Supporting Client initiatives remotely and on-premise
- Routine network maintenance in various environments.
- Participation in On-Call Roster based on role and requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience with Managing End-User Computing.
- Experience with Advanced Microsoft 365 Operations.
- Having worked in a highly motivated, fast-paced, critical support role
- An excellent reputation for support to end-users and leading teams
- Excellent decision making and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are required
- Ability to meet deadlines with Projects and Assignments
- Ability to learn and support new technologies and train others
- Some regional travel is required – all expenses paid
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Additional (but Not Required) Skillsets
- Technical Trade School Education
- Two (2) years or more experience Advanced Microsoft 365 support experience.
- Two (2) years or more experience with networking operations as well as design.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN design, IP stack fundamentals, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLANs, VPNs (IPsec), QoS policies, Ethernet standards and network protocols.
- Proficiency with networking equipment such as Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Smart Licensing, Meraki Cloud, SonicWALL, or Juniper devices is a plus.
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems including VoIP protocols (SIP), QoS configurations for voice traffic prioritization; experience supporting remote access solutions for global teams.
- A background in IT infrastructure management covering operating systems like Windows Server environments, Virtualization, and Cloud Networking is advantageous.
- Expertise in network security practices including encryption standards (SSL/TLS), SSO (Single Sign-On), LDAP, SAML integration for authentication services, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
