Infrastructure Architect\n\nWe are currently partnered with a Financial Services client who are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to drive the design and evolution of thier data centre and cloud platforms. This is a key role focused on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions while contributing to ongoing capability improvements.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, providing architectural leadership across projects and shaping the future infrastructure strategy.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the design of infrastructure solutions, including high-level designs and architectural blueprints\nProvide technical leadership across projects and act as the lead architect\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure strategy, standards, and best practices\nCollaborate with engineering, security, and enterprise architecture teams\nContribute to product roadmaps, reference architectures, and continuous improvement initiatives\nEnsure solutions align with architectural principles and security standards\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nProven experience in infrastructure architecture within enterprise environments\nStrong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS ), data centres, and hosting technologies\nBroad knowledge of networking, security, and risk management\nAbility to clearly communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders\nExperience working across architecture, engineering, and operations teams\n\nDesirable Skills\n\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC)\nVirtualisation technologies and operating systems (Windows & Linux)\nHybrid cloud architecture design\nCloud security and third-party tooling evaluation\nStorage, firewall technologies, and database platforms\n\nQualifications\n\nDegree in a relevant technology discipline (or equivalent experience)\nIndustry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM (or similar) are highly desirable\nStrong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus\n If you a re looking for an opportunity to utilise your experience in order to truly impact a business, then look no further. \n\nApply now to avoid disappointment!\n\nTo find out more about Huxley, please visit \n\nHuxley, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy | Registered office | 8 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4BQ, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC(phone number removed) England and Wales
