Role: Infrastructure Delivery Lead
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)
Long Term Contract
The Infrastructure Delivery Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery, stabilization, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure services across Compute, VDI, Database, and Storage platforms. This role acts as the primary interface between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring infrastructure services are delivered in line with agreed scope, SLAs, risk posture, and transformation goals.
The role requires a strong blend of client-facing leadership, delivery governance, and technical acumen—with the ability to translate business outcomes into actionable infrastructure execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary escalation and governance contact for infrastructure delivery across Compute, VDI, Database, and Storage.
Manage relationships with client IT leadership, architecture teams, security, application owners, and PMOs.
Lead service reviews, operational governance calls, and executive updates—articulating risks, dependencies, and remediation plans clearly.
Align delivery priorities with client business objectives, regulatory requirements, and transformation roadmaps.
Manage expectations during transitions, migrations, major incidents, and change programs.
2. Infrastructure Delivery & Governance
Own end-to-end delivery accountability for infrastructure services across:
• Compute (on prem, virtualized (HyperV, and cloud IaaS)
• VDI ( Citrix or equivalent)
• Database platforms (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, managed cloud DBs – delivery oversight)
• Storage (SAN, NAS, object storage, cloud storage services)
Ensure delivery adherence to SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
Govern change, release, and capacity planning to ensure platform stability and availability.
Drive standardization, automation, and repeatability across infrastructure delivery.
3. Technical Oversight & Direction
Provide technical leadership and oversight (not day-to-day administration) across all infrastructure domains.
Review and challenge architecture designs, migration approaches, and solution patterns.
Ensure infrastructure solutions are built with resilience, scalability, security, and DR/BCP considerations.
Guide teams on modernization initiatives such as:
• Data center to cloud migration
• VDI optimization and cost control
• Storage modernization and lifecycle management
Act as the technical escalation point for complex delivery issues and cross-domain dependencies.
4. Delivery Team Leadership
Lead and coordinate multi-vendor and cross-functional technical teams (onshore/offshore).
Ensure clear role definition, delivery ownership, and accountability across domains.
Coach teams on delivery best practices, incident management, RCA quality, and documentation standards.
Drive a culture of operational excellence, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement.
