Summary
This is a full-time job located in the Des Moines office with some travel required. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and building strong relationships with existing customers and finding new sales within those accounts. Responsible for daily interaction to ensure current customers’ orders are being processed according to their expectations. This role will also be generating and following up on new prospects. Additionally, the role involves effectively communicating with clients and internal teams to meet sales targets and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
Key Responsibilities
· Prospect and develop new OEM accounts within target industries
· Generate new leads and identify prospective customers through web research, networking on the phone, industry database searches, etc.
· Contact new and existing customers to assess their needs and present tailored product and service solutions
· Communicate with customers when they have requests for orders, quotes, concerns on product and service
· Prepare and process sales orders
· Generate and follow up on quotes in a timely manner
· Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment
· Maintain accurate CRM activity and pipeline tracking
· Perform marketing related activities in support of sales
· Flex to other departments as needed

Qualifications
· 2+ years of inside B2B sales experience (industrial or electrical )
· Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing sales within the wire and cable machinery industry
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and custom databases
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing sales within the PCB industry a plus
· Strong understanding of manufacturing environments
· Ability to sell value over price
· High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree
· Occasional lifting of 20-40lbs.
· Standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.
· Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
· High level of attention to detail.
· Ability to give and receive corrective criticism and guidance.
· Constant professional interaction with customers and other members of the team.
