yreus are currently recruiting for an Installation Electrician to support electrical installation, commissioning, and certification works across commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects in the UK.\n\nThis role will suit a qualified electrician with strong experience in regulated environments, capable of working independently, completing certification, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Role requires regular travel across UK project sites, with Monday–Friday working pattern\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of electrical systems\n\nEnsure works are delivered safely, to specification, and within agreed timeframes\n\nCoordinate day-to-day site activities and manage workload priorities\n\nResolve technical and installation issues as they arise on site\n\nEnsure all electrical works comply with BS 7671 and relevant regulations\n\nConduct inspections and quality checks to maintain high workmanship standards\n\nComplete electrical testing, inspection, and certification accurately and on time\n\nUpload certification via approved compliance platforms\n\nPerform insulation resistance, earth continuity, RCD, and functional testing\n\nValidate test results and report non-conformances where identified\n\nSupport final sign-off and handover processes\n\nProduce accurate site documentation including test results, as-built drawings, risk assessments, and certificates\n\nMaintain clear records for audits, inspections, and future reference\n\nIssue completion and compliance documentation upon project close-out\n\nDiagnose and resolve complex electrical faults\n\nSupport commissioning of new systems in line with manufacturer specifications\n\nMinimise downtime through effective problem-solving\n\nWork in full compliance with company and site H&S procedures\n\nApply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) processes where required\n\nComplete task-specific risk assessments and implement control measures\n\nActively promote safe working practices on site\n\nLiaise with Project Managers regarding progress and certification status\n\nCoordinate with other trades to ensure efficient site operations\n\nProvide guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices\n\nFollow company and project-specific procedures and workflows\n\nComplete timesheets, expense claims, and goods receipt documentation accurately\n\nSupport stock control and documentation reviews with project teams\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Gold ECS Card\n\n * \n\n Current BS 7671 qualification\n\n * \n\n Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Experience working in critical or high-risk environments\n\n * \n\n Full UK Driving Licence\n\nDesirable\n\n * \n\n Experience with UPS, DC systems, and BMS\n\n * \n\n SSSTS or SMSTS\n\n * \n\n First Aid at Work\n\n * \n\n PASMA / IPAF\n\n * \n\n Data centre or critical infrastructure experience\n\n * \n\n Manufacturer-specific training\n\n * \n\n Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience
