Interim Real Estate Paralegal

Job Description

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s client is seeking a Corporate Paralegal with strong real estate experience to serve as a key member of its in-house legal team.

Overview: This position will support the legal team across real estate, power, and commercial matters, with a particular focus on due diligence, easements, financing support, NDAs, inbox and workflow management, and cross-functional coordination.

Company: Leading owner, operator, and developer of hyperscale and enterprise-grade data centers serving large-scale cloud, technology, and infrastructure customers across North America

Experience: 5+ years of relevant corporate and commercial real estate paralegal experience

Location: Hybrid, Plano, Texas

Responsibilities Include:

  • Interface with contractual and real estate due diligence items across a range of matters, including easements, financing-related diligence, NDAs, and other transaction support needs
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for the legal team by managing workflows, monitoring the inbox, triaging incoming requests, and directing matters to the appropriate subject matter experts
  • Identify and distinguish among real estate matters, power-related matters, and commercial transactions so issues are routed efficiently and handled by the right internal stakeholders
  • Organize and track the moving pieces across multiple matters, ensuring diligence items, documentation, timelines, and follow-up tasks stay on course
  • Support the team as a trusted right hand by bringing sound judgment, practical problem-solving, and a calm, steady approach in a fast-moving environment
  • Help create structure and continuity for a growing legal function by improving coordination and helping the team stay organized across a broad variety of work

Qualifications Include:

  • Prior paralegal or legal operations experience supporting commercial real estate, project development, infrastructure, or similarly complex transactional legal matters
  • Hands-on experience coordinating due diligence materials, including easements, financing diligence, NDAs, and related contractual documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to triage and route legal requests appropriately across multiple categories of work, including real estate, power, and commercial transactions
  • Experience managing high-volume legal workflows, inbox coordination, and matter tracking for a lean or understaffed legal team
