You'll be mentored by a Chartered Electrical Associate and supported through two weekly technical development sessions.

This is an ideal role for someone with around a year of experience looking to sharpen their design skills in a fully remote, forward-thinking team.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nYou'll support the design and coordination of electrical systems across a variety of building projects. Typical responsibilities include:\n\nLighting Design - Layouts, calculations, specs, and energy compliance\nSmall Power Distribution - Socket layouts, DB schedules, coordination\nFire Alarm Systems - Zoning, schematics, supplier coordination\nCCTV & Security Systems - Camera layouts, coverage, consultant coordination\nEmergency Lighting - Designs to BS 5266 and other relevant standards\nLoad Calculations & Cable Sizing - Electrical assessments, cable sizing\nMEP Coordination - Working with mechanical and PH teams, clash detection in BIM/Revit\nTechnical Documentation - Drawings, specs, reports, tender packs\nRegulatory Compliance - BS7671, CIBSE guides, Part L\nProject Support - Attending meetings (virtually or in-person where needed)Essential Requirements\n\nMust be a of the UK\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering\nMinimum of two years' experience in electrical design, within building services consultancy or multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy\nKnowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards\nFamiliarity with tools like AutoCAD/Revit and Amtech or Electrical OM.\nExcellent communication and a collaborative, growth‑oriented attitudeWhat's In It for You\n\nFully Remote: Work from anywhere in the UK\nOngoing Development: Two structured mentoring sessions weekly, plus your own CPD budget\nMeaningful Projects: Low-carbon, sustainable building projects across the UK\nCollaborative Culture: Supportive team of like-minded engineers\nFlexibility: Work that fits around your life, not the other way around \n\nInterested?\n\nSend your CV with "Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer -Remote" in the subject line
