Intermediate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services (Revit)\n\n Manchester / Hybrid Working\n £35,000 - £42,000 + Benefits\n Building Services Design (Data Centres, Stadia, Healthcare, Residential)\n\nAn established and growing Building Services consultancy is looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join its Manchester team due to continued project growth across several exciting sectors.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to step into a more technically challenging role within a consultancy delivering high-profile MEP and Mission Critical projects across the UK.\n\nThe business has developed a strong reputation for delivering intelligent, sustainable, and technically led building services solutions across commercial, healthcare, industrial, residential, education, logistics, retail, and mission critical developments.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou'll join an experienced Mechanical team delivering projects from concept through to completion across RIBA Stages 1-5. Working alongside the Mechanical team and developing your Revit skills on each and every project.\n\nProjects include:\n\nHigh-rise residential developments\nIndustrial and logistics facilities\nHealthcare and education schemes\nCommercial office developments\nMission Critical and infrastructure projects\nLarge-scale warehouse and manufacturing facilities\nStadium and mixed-use developmentsYou'll gain exposure to technically challenging projects ranging from local developments through to nationally recognised schemes, with a strong focus on sustainability, low carbon design, and modern BIM-led project delivery.\n\nRevit is heavily utilised across the business and forms a key part of project coordination and design delivery.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nMechanical Building Services design across all project stages\nSupporting the delivery of projects within multidisciplinary teams\nProducing technical calculations, specifications, and reports\nDeveloping Revit and BIM coordination capabilities\nSupporting senior engineers on major project delivery\nAttending client and design team meetings\n Requirements\n\nExperience within Building Services / MEP consultancy\nMechanical Building Services design experience\nRevit experience highly desirable\nExposure to projects across RIBA Stages 1-5\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\nDesire to continue developing technically within a collaborative consultancy environment\n Salary & Benefits\n\n£35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience\nHybrid working - 3 days office / 2 days home (flexible)\n25 days holiday\nHoliday Buy & Sell scheme up to 1 week per year\nPension\nPaid professional memberships (CIBSE / IMechE)\nOngoing in-house and external training including Revit development\nModern BIM/Revit-led working environment\nStrong project pipeline and long-term progression opportunities\nExcellent staff retention and collaborative culture\n If you're looking for a role with genuine project variety, exposure to major MEP developments, and the opportunity to continue developing technically within a supportive consultancy environment, please apply for more information.\n\nCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their , , , religion/beliefs, or .
