About the Role
Credo is seeking an Internal Communications Manager based out of the San Jose Office who will report into the People Experience Director. As a strategic and creative thinker, this role is responsible for developing internal communication plans that engage all Credo team members. The ideal candidate will be a persuasive communicator with intellectual curiosity and will help anticipate roadblocks to keep company initiatives moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Partner with the business to help write, edit, and ensure consistency of messaging and videos across all internal platforms including emails, intranet, newsletters, town halls, etc.Review all internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and tone of voice.
- Strategic Planning: Assist the People Experience Director in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further Credos company objectives. Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Build from scratch and iterate quickly based on feedback. Manage employee feedback channels to ensure that messages add value and are delivered in a consistent and timely manner.
- Reporting & Analytics: Measure and track progress on communication plans by analyzing feedback, insights and consulting on action plans informed by data.
- Additional Duties: Serve as the liaison with our internal communications vendors, manage the internal communications email inbox, submit purchase orders, and perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience at a global and growing company, working autonomously to develop internal communication plans for recurring business rhythms (e.g., compensation cycle), sensitive changes (e.g., leadership changes) and crises (e.g., system outage)
- Bachelors degree (Public Relations, Business, Journalism, English, or Human Resources ) from an accredited, 4-year university or equivalent work experience
- Written and Oral Communication: Strong writing, storytelling and proofreading skills. You listen as well as share your perspective with others, and can translate complex updates into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences (both cross-functionally and cross-regionally).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using an enterprise-grade communications platform such as Poppulo, video content creation tools such as Camtasia, and Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Stakeholder Management: Consultative approach with various internal partners across multiple disciplines including the executive team. Asks the right questions to quickly understand different parts of the business.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, execution, and measurement of results. Skilled at managing own time and the time of others.
- Professionalism: Great judgement and strong discretion when working with confidential or sensitive materials. Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Experience partnering across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Singapore a plus.
