Job Title: ISP Fiber Engineer

Client: CommScope

Position: Onsite

Contract: 12+months

Location: Montgomery, Alabama

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled ISP Engineer to join our team for CommScope to build data center for Client Meta. The ideal professional will be responsible for primarily working in existing and new Data center builds primarily in the Montgomery, Alabama area requiring Audits within specific rooms in the data canter, and construction of the sites. Additionally you will be supporting retro fits (any changes/upgrades done to the current data canters and make sure everything is kept up to date)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to do physical audits for certain rooms within the data centers, and keep track of any updates the data canter
  • Submit templates to engineers for review and approval.
  • Coordinate with various Meta teams to ensure the successful implementation of devices.
  • Knowledge in Fiber optic networks
  • Fiber optic network needs and familiarity with Data canters which is the ISP Fiber network.
  • Good knowledge working with Rack servers, modems, cabling that is being ran on the inside and the servers.
  • experience with complete data canter construction, rack set up and cabling
