Job Title: IT Director

Job Summary
Foley Entertainment Group, LLC is seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Director to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our IT department. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure, business applications, and support services. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sports industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to partner with business leaders across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily IT operations including Help Desk, Infrastructure, Security, Business Applications, and Projects, ensuring high availability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with the CIO to develop and execute IT strategies, manage the IT budget, and lead the execution of strategic projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team through regular performance reviews, professional development, and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison between IT and business units, building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions meet operational and strategic requirements.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data through proactive risk management, compliance, and oversight of cybersecurity initiatives and incident response planning.
- Demonstrate strong Strategic Thinking, Leadership & Team Development, and Business Acumen to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
- Exhibit excellent Communication & Collaboration skills to foster cross-functional partnerships and drive change.
- Apply effective Problem Solving and Change Management practices to navigate challenges and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Hands on experience working with Microsoft M365 including Intune, Defender, Entra, Active Directory, Azure and Cisco Meraki
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience with ERP and CRM Systems
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking and telephony systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.

- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds (e.g., computer equipment, servers, networking hardware).
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, vision, and the ability to adjust focus for extended screen time.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate standard office and IT equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via telephone, video conference, and in person.

- Primarily office-based environment; regularly works in climate-controlled office spaces and data center/server room environments.
- Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels typical of an open office, event venue, or sports arena setting.
- May be required to work on-site at event venues, arenas, or remote office locations as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during live events, system upgrades, or critical incidents.
- May be required to be on call for IT emergencies or business-critical system issues outside of regular business hours.
- Some travel may be required to support multi-site operations, vendor meetings, or industry events.
- Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities; requires the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
