IT INFRASTRUCTURE DIRECTOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Director to lead a comprehensive modernization of enterprise technology systems across a nationwide footprint. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution—driving network redesign, cloud migration, cybersecurity enhancements, and infrastructure transformation initiatives that support operational scalability and business continuity.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Lead enterprise-wide modernization of infrastructure, including network architecture, Wi-Fi, data center, and cloud environments.
  • Direct and manage cloud migration initiatives—assessing, planning, and executing hybrid or full-cloud transitions for core business systems.
  • Oversee circuit redesign (SD-WAN, MPLS exit), data center consolidation, and modernization of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Maintain reliability, scalability, and business continuity standards across all sites.
  • Lead enterprise security remediation and infrastructure hardening programs.
  • Implement advanced cybersecurity solutions for threat detection, response, and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards through proactive risk management and patch governance.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and cloud projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance management.
  • Maintain high availability targets (99.9%+ uptime) and oversee escalation for critical incidents and outages.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth technology integration for new developments, acquisitions, or transitions.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing technical teams, providing training and growth opportunities in areas such as cybersecurity, networking, and cloud technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's ).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, and systems administration.
  • Proven success leading large-scale modernization, cloud migration, and infrastructure transformation projects.
  • Strong leadership in:
  • Network architecture and modernization (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi 6, SD-WAN, firewalls).
  • Cloud platform management and migration (Azure, AWS, or similar).
  • Security technologies and frameworks (e.g., Palo Alto, Darktrace, Arctic Wolf).
  • Virtualization, disaster recovery, and backup systems (VMware, Zerto, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors, budgets, and multi-site deployments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • certifications: CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, Azure or AWS Solutions Architect.
