Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.
Duties:
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on state-of-the-art practices
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of technical experience in application development, with strong understanding of modern microservice and enterprise architectures, DevOps principles, and standard SDLC methodologies
- 3+ years of experience in application development program management, leading large, cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation
- 1+ year of hands-on experience performing business analysis or solution design work, even if not in a formal BA or SA role
- 1+ year of experience in budget and resource management, including tracking weekly spend, updating monthly forecasts, and identifying financial risks or variances
- Proven success in enterprise program management, ideally overseeing large-scale and complex platform migrations
- Strategic and collaborative leader with the ability to align cross-functional teams, drive program momentum, and deliver impactful business outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills and strong executive presence, capable of engaging with senior leadership and serving as the face of the program

The approximate pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $76.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
