We are the system center of a strong group of northern German building materials dealers - hands-on, down-to-earth, reliable. 19 medium-sized companies are currently there for our customers at 36 locations with around 1,000 employees. We generate an annual turnover of around € 400 million. We provide a significant proportion of our shareholders with a central IT infrastructure for handling all business processes and operate our own data center with currently around 620 users.

To strengthen our IT team in Bad Bramstedt near Hamburg, we are looking for a committed new colleague (m/f/d) who enjoys actively shaping our IT infrastructure and keeping IT operations running reliably.

Tasks

  • Your support will ensure the smooth operation and further development of the central IT infrastructure based on Microsoft systems.
  • You install and maintain applications in the data center and make them technically available.
  • You process support tickets independently.
  • You carry out fault diagnoses and rectify technical faults.
  • You take on your own - and support joint - IT projects.

Qualification

  • Successfully completed training in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for system integration, system electronics technician) or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in application and/or system administration
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (2016-2025) and server virtualization (Hyper-V)
  • You also have knowledge in at least one of these areas
  • Microsoft Exchange SE
  • Veeam backup
  • Network configuration in the areas of WAN, LAN, routing and firewall
  • Citrix products
  • You like to work independently and goal-oriented
  • You have good teamwork and communication skills
