IT System Administrator (m/f/d) - focus on infrastructure, data center & security
Your tasks
- Operation and further development of our server and network infrastructure (on-premise & hybrid cloud)
- Administration and monitoring of VMware vSphere, Windows and Linux servers
- Administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune
- Participation in security, network and cloud projects
- Support and optimization of our firewall environments (Palo Alto, WatchGuard)
- Administration of Cisco, Aruba and Unifi network components
- Collaboration in 2nd and 3rd level support for infrastructure topics
- Creation of technical documentation and support with process automation
What you bring with you
- You have successfully completed training or studies in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for system integration, computer science, IT security)
- You have already gained several years of professional experience in system administration or infrastructure support
- You have good knowledge in several of the following areas
- VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux Server
- Active Directory / Entra ID / Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Defender, Intune
- Cisco, Aruba or Unifi networks
- Palo Alto / WatchGuard firewalls
- Cloud services (AWS, Microsoft)
- IaC (Terraform)
- You have already gained experience in project management and enjoy cross-team collaboration
- You are characterized by your independent, structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
- Good German and English skills round off your profile
