JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing and assisting with a wide variety of janitorial services, cleaning services, laundry services and other related duties to maintain the daily cleanliness of facilities.  Works under direction of the Manager or delegate performing in accordance with Mammoth Industries Inc mission, vision, values, and performance standards while providing best-in-class service to all our clients/guests.  The position can also be combined with the position of Housekeeper depending on education, experience, company needs and facility population.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three months of work experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals and general cleaning processes 
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, understand, and write English
  • A valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to Mammoth Industries Inc’s insurance provider and client contract requirements
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening with satisfactory results.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening with satisfactory results obtained
  • Completion of a post-offer pre-placement functional test, to verify test recipient has the capability to perform essential job functions  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous remote site camp experience and/or related area

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Any one position may not include all duties listed nor do the listed examples include all duties which may be found in the position.)

  • Cleans, sweeps, mops and/or vacuums hallways, stairways, food preparation areas, break areas, indoor/outdoor smoke lounges, restrooms, general offices, offsite areas, communal areas and other occupied areas as assigned.
  • May scrub, wax and buff various floor surfaces using the appropriate equipment.
  • Replenishes client and guest supplies and amenities as requested or required.
  • According to occupancy report may be responsible for the cleanliness, restock of supplies and orderliness of client and guest rooms and bathrooms.
  • Details, organizes and/or dusts closet spaces, tables, chairs, heaters in all rooms, above closet space and overhead lights, and bed boards.
  • Wipes down various surfaces located in all general areas. storage areas, (in some cases), spike rooms, equipment and other areas as required.
  • Cleans and sanitizes all facility bathrooms and laundry rooms using proper cleaning techniques, cleaning agents and PPE.
  • Uses the appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for all tasks may be required to wash items and equipment by hand. Recognizes and wears the proper PPE for job tasks.
  • May assist with laundry services, such as collecting soiled linens, towels, etc. from client rooms or various areas and/or and replenishes with clean linens, towels, etc.
  • Restocks room and bathroom supplies, provides additional supplies and items according to client requests. 
  • Removes and transports trash to proper disposal areas.
  • Reviews various cleaning schedules to determine required duties.

  • Assists with various periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
  • Promotes, establish and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and clients,
  • Adheres to all company and client safety policies, requirements and trainings,
  • Willingness to work offsite or at various locations as required – may be required to travel using company vehicle to offsite locations.
  • Other duties as required
