Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team supporting mission-critical Data Center projects in Hampton, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or data center environments. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in data center facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, switchgear, panels, transformers, and related electrical equipment.
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project schedules and quality standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Active Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial, industrial, or data center electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with conduit bending, cable pulling, terminations, and electrical equipment installation.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Hampton, GA.
Qualifications
- Previous data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial project experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
