Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Mechanic & Foreman - $150 daily per diem

Overview:

A skilled tradesperson who has completed a formal apprenticeship and passed the Journeyman exam, capable of installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain HVAC systems, including sheet metal.

• Utilize test equipment and computer-based monitoring/control devices to diagnose and maintain systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and HVAC schematics.

• Safely use hand and power tools relevant to HVAC tasks.

• Perform duties in confined spaces and adhere to safety protocols using protective gear.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical school certification is a plus.

• Completion of HVAC apprenticeship and/or Journeyman licensing.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading, HVAC mathematics (e.g. load calculations), and basic computer use.

• Strong customer service, communication skills, and ability to work independently and alongside other trades.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

-Requires physical stamina to lift heavy objects, navigate tight spaces, and perform tasks like crawling, squatting, or kneeling.

• Exposure to varied environments-both indoors and outdoors, with moderate to loud noise levels.

• Willing to travel to Projects as Needed.

• Prevailing wage project in Cocoa Beach, FL.

• $150 daily per diem.
