Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Pay Range: $24.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

• We are seeking Journeyman Plumbers to support a large-scale data center construction project in West Jordan, Utah.
• This role requires plumbers with commercial plumbing experience who are comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments and performing overhead piping installation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of plumbing experience and experience installing stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems using press-fit methods.
• Plumbers will work alongside other skilled trades to ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems in a commercial construction environment.
• Measure, cut, and install piping using press-fit systems and industry-standard plumbing tools.
• Perform overhead piping installation while working from ladders, scissor lifts, or boom lifts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing schematics, and construction drawings.
• Inspect and test piping systems to ensure proper function and detect leaks.
• Ensure all installations comply with local plumbing codes, job specifications, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the jobsite.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet construction timelines and project goals.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of commercial plumbing experience (Journeyman or advanced Apprentice level).
• Journeyman Plumber License (Utah but not required).
• Experience installing stainless steel and carbon steel piping.
• Experience with press-fit piping systems.
• Ability to work overhead and at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding construction work.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and plumbing layouts.
• Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite.

Qualifications

• Experience working on data centers, industrial facilities, or large commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience operating aerial lifts and other jobsite equipment.

Work Environment

• Active commercial construction site.
• Regular overhead piping installation.
• Work performed on ladders, scissor lifts, or boom lifts.
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Compensation & Opportunity

• $24.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
