We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure across campus, data center, and cloud-connected environments. This role is ideal for entry-level professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
• Support installation and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues
• Monitor network health using tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
• Document network configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network upgrades and security initiatives
• Respond to incident and service requests in compliance with ITIL processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, Subnetting
• Basic knowledge of routing and switching (static, OSPF, BGP fundamentals)
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• CCNA or equivalent certification
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Aruba devices
• Exposure to firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices
• Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• or entry-level enterprise IT experience
