About the opportunity

Remote People is partnering with a leading Am Law 20 law firm to identify a high-performing Junior Real Estate Associate for its Chicago office.
\n
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Associate currently practicing in the Real Estate group of a peer BigLaw firm and looking to continue developing their career on sophisticated, high-value transactions.
\n
The ideal candidate is already based in Chicago and admitted to practice law in Illinois.
\n
What you'll work on
\n
You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate matters, including:

- Real Estate M&A and private equity transactions
- Joint ventures
- Acquisitions and dispositions
- Real estate financings
- Fund formation
- Leasing
- Development and investment transactions across a wide range of asset classes

\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
The broader Real Estate practice works with clients on transactions involving office, multifamily, industrial, logistics, hospitality, data centers, retail and other real estate assets.
\n
What we're looking for:
\n
\n
- \n
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- Preferably 2023, 2024 or 2025 law school graduate
- Current or recent experience in the Real Estate practice of a peer BigLaw firm
- Admitted to practice law in Illinois
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
- Strong interest in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions
- Currently based in the Chicago area
- Available to start ASAP (within approximately 4–6 weeks )

- $225,000–$235,000 annual base salary
