LEAD REVIT ELECTRICAL DESIGNER– MISSION CRITICAL / DATA CENTER

Position Summary

Detail-oriented design professional specializing in Autodesk Revit for both 2D drafting and 3D modeling. Responsible for producing accurate, fully coordinated construction drawing packages while supporting multidisciplinary project teams. This role will also provide leadership in Revit standards, workflows, quality control, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Revit.
  • Produce comprehensive construction documentation packages with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and project requirements.
  • Manage document control, including revisions, versioning, approvals, and quality documentation.
  • Lead and coordinate Revit teams, establishing standards, workflows, and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to coordinate designs and resolve clashes.
  • Review markups and revisions and incorporate changes accurately into design documentation.
  • Develop and deliver Revit training to improve team capabilities and standardization.
  • Support project delivery for commercial, industrial, and data center environments.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure drawings and models meet technical requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit, including drafting, modeling, and model coordination.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and legacy drawing support.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam for document review, markups, and collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and managing Revit workflows and standards.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and incorporate engineering/construction markups and revisions.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring Revit/design teams is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, commercial, industrial, or data center projects is a plus.
