We are hiring a Lead / Senior Inspector to support a large-scale data center project near Haskell, Texas. This role is responsible for overseeing quality control operations, managing field staff, and interfacing directly with contractors and ownership teams. This is a high-impact, camp-based leadership position.
Pay & Schedule
- $45–$65/hour (based on experience and leadership background)
- $180/day per diem (paid on days worked)
- 60+ hours per week typical (overtime available)
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
- Rotation schedule based on project needs

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage field quality control operations
- Oversee materials testing (concrete, soils, aggregates) and inspection activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements
- Interface directly with contractor leadership, engineers, and client representatives
- Review and approve reports, test results, and field documentation
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and daily field operations
- Mentor and develop junior technicians and inspectors
- Identify risks early and proactively resolve quality issues
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong background in construction materials testing and inspection
- Proven leadership experience managing field teams
- Ability to work extended hours and live on-site during rotation
Certifications Required
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Grade I
- Nuclear Density Gauge (NDG) certification
- ICC Soils Special Inspector
- ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
- Additional certifications a plus
