Level 1 Deployment Technician

Job Description

DataXport is a company based in El Paso, Texas, looking for talented self-motivated candidates who are interested in joining our dynamic team for a PC refresher/break-fix project as a temporary deployment technician position in the Abilene area.

Salary and benefits

• Up to $22 per hour plus bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new computer assets, install applications, and perform initial startup activities.
• Document imaging and deployment data.
• Perform on-site procedures following installation guidelines.
• Creates written reports and documentation as needed.
• Packing, documenting, and labeling equipment for shipment.
• Escalate and report all issues into established documentation.
• Other administrative duties.

Qualifications

• An associate degree or an equivalent level of experience is .
• A minimum of 2 years of PC deployment experience is required.
• PC break/fix and refresher experience .
• MDM, O365 troubleshooting, and user management.
• Knowledge of data communication and network concepts, principles, and fundamentals is required.
• Proficiency with LAN, WAN/MAN, data center, or wireless networks.
• Pass a drug test, background check, and fingerprint check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 25+ pounds.
