Level 3 Technical – NBS
Overview: You will be working in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known customers. This position is in the Negotiated Business Solutions group handling requests for support of software/hardware that are not supported by the regular IT support group.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Putting OS on client laptops/desktops/tablets, configuration of laptops/desktops/tablets and client data migration.
• Advanced break/fix support of software/hardware issues for clients.
• Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database.
• Flexibility changing directions within an hour, sometimes less.
• Travelling between buildings using personal vehicle/via foot.
You will have frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email and IM. You will be working in a dynamic team and cross training to backfill for peer team members. You will train and backfill for our partner IT groups, including Data Center Housing, IT Service Centers and Audio-Visual departments. We will challenge you with additional responsibilities, assigned periodically aimed at helping meet our client's needs and provide you with continuous hands-on training and experience.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years technical experience desired.
• A+ certification is required within 90 days of start date.
• Windows/Linux imaging.
• Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting.
• Basic server imaging with limited troubleshooting.
• Basic Linux OS troubleshooting.
• Basic printer support and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo. May be required to walk/sit/stand/crawl/kneel for extended periods.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8 and 10.
