We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to lead installations and upgrades across Central Offices, MSOs, and Data Centers. This senior-level role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians. Extensive travel and a strong focus on safety are essential. Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation, integration, and upgrades of telecom equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians and oversee on-site work.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Install and manage fiber/copper cabling, racks, ducts, and framing hardware.
• Configure and commission -48VDC power systems, rectifiers, batteries, and distribution panels.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers; maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Central Office, MSO, or Data Center installation.
• Strong knowledge of transport gear (Adtran, Cisco, Ciena, Infinera, Fujitsu, Calix, Nokia).
• Experience with -48VDC power systems and hot cuts.
• Familiarity with Telcordia and AT&T standards.
• Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
• Valid driver’s license, clean record, and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and handle outdoor/indoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Technical trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and client systems.
