Apex Power LLC is seeking an experienced Power Electrician to support generator installation, commissioning, maintenance, and emergency power projects at data centers and other industrial facilities nationwide.

The electrician will work with commercial and industrial generator systems, automatic transfer switches, switchgear, distribution equipment, control wiring, and temporary power systems. This position requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work safely in demanding, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install and connect generators, automatic transfer switches, switchgear, electrical panels, and temporary power equipment
• Run conduit and pull, terminate, test, and identify power and control wiring
• Read electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical faults involving generators, ATS equipment, breakers, controls, and distribution systems
• Assist with generator startup, commissioning, load-bank testing, and system verification
• Perform voltage, amperage, continuity, insulation, and phase-rotation testing
• Complete equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and electrical repairs
• Coordinate with generator technicians, project managers, customers, and other trades
• Follow NEC requirements, NFPA 70E practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and all customer safety requirements
• Accurately document completed work, testing results, equipment issues, and job progress

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial electrical or power- experience required
• Experience working with commercial or industrial generators, ATS equipment, switchgear, or temporary power systems strongly
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and generator-control systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
• Knowledge of three-phase power and low-voltage control circuits
• Must have basic electrical hand tools and appropriate PPE
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
• Journeyman or state electrical license but not required for every assignment
• Must be willing to travel and work overtime, nights, weekends, or project rotations when required
• Must be able to complete background checks, drug screenings, and site-specific training

Compensation is based on experience and assignment. Overtime, travel opportunities, per diem, lodging, and work rotations may be available depending on the project.
