Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including initial assessments and ongoing reviews, to determine clients' needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and groups that address specific mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
- Monitor client progress against treatment objectives, providing regular updates and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client documentation through electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Support clients' families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health issues effectively.

Qualifications\n

- A successful passing score on the Counselor Examination (NCE) or the Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
- Strong proficiency in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.
