Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including initial assessments and ongoing reviews, to determine clients' needs and treatment goals.

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and groups that address specific mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

  • Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

  • Monitor client progress against treatment objectives, providing regular updates and adjusting plans as necessary.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate client documentation through electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

  • A successful passing score on the Counselor Examination (NCE) or the Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

  • Strong proficiency in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.

  • Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, with a demonstrated record of effective treatment outcomes.

  • Familiarity with the best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
