Role Overview

We’re looking for a U.S. Local Sourcing Buyer / Procurement Specialist to support manufacturing operations by sourcing and managing domestic suppliers. This role ensures materials are available on time, at the right cost and quality, to keep production running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and manage U.S.-based suppliers for manufacturing materials and components
  • Issue and manage purchase orders aligned with production schedules and MRP requirements
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, lead time, and reliability
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, contracts, and payment terms with domestic vendors to achieve cost savings
  • Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP systems
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve material shortages, quality issues, and production risks

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems

Salary Range

  • USD 65,000 – 75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
