Low Volt Cable Technician

We are seeking Low Volt Cable Technicians with a Minimum 3 years of experience working on commercial construction projects such as data centers, hospitals, schools, universities and office spaces. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth for reliable, high-performing individuals. This is a contract to hire opportunity for the right candidate. Work will be all over the Metro Area.

Responsibilities:

• Install Cat5 and Cat6 cabling in commercial environments
• Perform fiber rough-in and terminations (DOE)
• Complete rack and stack installations, including patch panels and cable dressing
• Work on A/V, burglar/security, and fire alarm system installations
• Lead and support a team while ensuring quality work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in low voltage cabling for commercial projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is a plus
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to complete projects from start to finish
• Must work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Must own basic electrical hand tools and PPE
• Must have experience with low voltage installations
• Must be able to pass a background check
