Low Voltage Technician

The Data Center / Low Voltage Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling systems and network infrastructure within data center environments

Duration: 3 months

Start Time: 4AM

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cables
• Perform cable routing through trays, ladders, racks, and conduits within data centers
• Install and maintain network hardware such as patch panels, switches, and server rack components
• Conduct cable testing and certification using industry-standard tools
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and repair faulty cabling or components
• Maintain accurate cable documentation, labeling, and diagrams
• Assist with rack and stack installations
• Adhere to safety procedures and low-voltage installation standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3+ years of experience in low voltage cabling or data center environments
• Experience with copper and fiber optic installations
• Familiarity with cable termination standards
• Strong attention to detail and cable management practices
