W&P Partners Legal Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a leading international law firm, to recruit an M&A Associate for its highly regarded Energy & Infrastructure M&A team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior associate with at least one year of M&A experience to join a market-leading Energy & Infrastructure platform and work on sophisticated transactions across one of the most active and strategically important sectors in the market.

\n

\n

Our client has a market-leading Energy & Infrastructure practice, with an integrated global team of more than 150 attorneys advising across M&A, finance, project development, regulatory, tax, environmental, real estate and related disciplines.

\n

\n

The practice is known for advising market-leading clients on complex, high-impact transactions across the full energy and infrastructure landscape, including renewables, power , oil and gas, energy transition, energy technology, infrastructure and data centers.

\n

\n

The Role

\n

\n

As an M&A Associate, you will join a close-knit and collaborative team working within the firm’s broader Energy & Infrastructure platform.

\n

\n

You will advise on a broad range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including:

\n

    \n
  • acquisitions and divestitures;
  • \n

  • joint ventures;
  • \n

  • corporate transactions;
  • \n

  • energy and infrastructure M
  • \n

  • renewable energy and power transactions;
  • \n

  • oil and gas matters;
  • \n

  • energy transition and energy technology deals;
  • \n

  • infrastructure and data center transactions.
  • \n

The team is experiencing significant and increasing deal flow, making this an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to gain hands-on transactional experience in a busy and highly regarded practice.

The Team

The Energy & Infrastructure M&A team has built a collaborative and supportive environment, with a strong focus on training, mentoring and associate development.

\n

\n

Associates work closely with partners on client matters and are also encouraged to contribute to wider team initiatives, including training programmes, pitch development, process improvement, data collection and the use of technology.

\n

\n

This is a strong opportunity for an associate who wants high-quality work, direct partner contact and meaningful development within a specialist M&A team.

The Candidate

\n

The successful candidate will have at least one year of M&A experience and a genuine interest in the energy and infrastructure sector.

\n

\n

You will have excellent academic credentials, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Candidates should be highly motivated, commercially aware and keen to develop within a sophisticated transactional practice.

\n

\n

Membership of the State Bar in the office location where the candidate expects to be based is required.
