Tax Due Diligence\n\nTax Due Diligence Advisor | TMT Sector | Flexible Work Pattern | Part-Time Initially\n\nA boutique advisory firm is seeking a Tax Due Diligence specialist to focus on high-growth Technology, Media and Telecommunications deals.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe Tax Due Diligence advisor will lead tax reviews on exciting TMT transactions, working with PE/VC-backed scale-ups and established tech businesses.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLeading tax due diligence projects across TMT M&A transactions\nIdentifying and quantifying tax risks, exposures and opportunities\nReviewing R&D relief, Patent Box, and intangibles tax treatment\nAssessing IR35/off-payroll compliance and EMI/share schemes\nAnalysing VAT on digital services and cross-border supplies\nEvaluating transfer pricing for IP and cost-sharing arrangements\nReviewing HMRC enquiries, tax losses and group relief positions\nPresenting findings to clients and deal teams with commercial insight\nSupporting SPA negotiations on tax warranties and indemnities\nMentoring junior team members on complex TMT tax mattersTMT Focus Areas:\n\nSaaS, subscription and platform business models\nFintech, gaming and streaming media\nTelecommunications and digital infrastructure\nCloud computing and data centre operations\nDigital services tax and Pillar Two implications\n\nCandidate Profile\n\nEssential:\n\nACA/CTA qualified \n6-8 years UK corporate tax experience\n3+ years in transaction advisory or tax due diligence\nStrong knowledge of UK corporate tax, employment tax and VAT\nProven ability to work autonomousley\nExcellent client-facing and communication skillsDesirable:\n\nDual qualified (ACA/CTA)\nBig Four or boutique firm background\nExperience with venture-backed businesses\nKnowledge of cross-border tax structures\nExposure to HMRC clearance applicationsAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
