Performs basic activities in the routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s).

Job Requirements

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. or , U.S. lawful permanent , person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

This is a 1st Shift position. (Mon-Thurs: 5:30AM-4:00PM).

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by creating and completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Utilize knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code (NESC) to ensure that designs comply with the required safety clearances.

What your background should look like

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical.
• 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical (low & high voltage), and electronic skill.
• PLC knowledge with programming skills a plus.
• Ability to read, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagram.
• Must be flexible to work some weekends, & occasional overtime.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for industrial warehouse environment.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,600- $86,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
