Job description:
Hours:
6pm - 6:30am
Week 1 - Sun - Tues
Week 2 Sun - Wed
Resource's typical working day:
All initial training will be done M-F 8-5pm for the first 2 weeks, candidates must be available for this initial training
Rounds and reads inspections
Preventative Maintenance
Escorting 3rd party vendors
Work Order management
Years of Experience needed: 4-5 years
Level of Education: Completed Trade School Program
Systems/Software proficiencies:
Computer Skills

Basic Application knowledge

Certified Electrician or HVAC technician

Must have prior Data Center Experience - Specifically on the Mechanical/Electrical Ops side

JOB SUMMARY
This role utilizes advance skills to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center operation. Oversight of electrical and mechanical systems, including but not limited to: Universal Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, chillers, Electrical Distribution, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (Client) systems, and CMMS Work Dispatching.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
• Under close supervision, complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures in accordance with Environment, Health and Safety Policy - ensuring all safety processes and PPE requirements are followed.
• Also, ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
• Oversee third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws/regulations.
• Accompany vendors on site visits on an as needed basis and ensure site standards are met. Help create and develop work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment. Ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated.
• Complete all required training in order to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma/GED required, with 2-4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, .
• Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols. Strong background in either HVAC or Electrical, .
