Manufacturing Engineer – Power Distribution Equipment

Location: Dallas, Texas

A leading engineering-driven organisation is seeking a highly capable Manufacturing Engineer to join its growing team in Dallas, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and wants to take full ownership of how complex electrical products are brought from concept to production.

Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead new product introduction (NPI), design for manufacturability (DFM), and production system development. Based in Dallas, Texas, the Manufacturing Engineer will design how products are built, define manufacturing strategies, and implement the infrastructure required to support rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full NPI lifecycle from concept through production release, ensuring manufacturability at every stage.
  • Develop and implement complete production processes including routing, tooling, and validation.
  • Design and optimise facility layouts, workstations, and production flow within the Dallas, Texas site.
  • Identify, justify, and implement capital equipment investments with clear ROI.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids to improve quality and reduce cycle time.
  • Lead root cause analysis and hands-on problem-solving on the production floor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a hands-on environment.
  • Strong background in electrical or electromechanical manufacturing.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand wiring, terminations, and components.
  • Proven experience with NPI, DFM, facility layout, and capital equipment planning.
  • Practical Lean manufacturing experience (value stream mapping, flow optimisation).
  • Experience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891) is highly desirable.
