As the Manufacturing Engineer with Hyper Solutions you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with contract manufacturers across the US and ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the highest quality standards. Must have ability to travel up to 50%.

Essential Functions & Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with contract manufacturers across the US.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  • Conduct process audits, evaluate suppliers and provide technical support to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain production and inspection instructions, procedures, and training programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities, including lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
  • Travel regularly to contract manufacturer locations for training, process evaluations, and to support production start-up activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on contract manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in analyzing production costs, evaluating capital expenditures, and providing recommendations for investment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the US up 50% or more.
