Manufacturing Technician (Lean & Continuous Improvement)Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Technician with a passion for Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and driving operational excellence on the shop floor?My client, based near Stamford, is a market-leading engineering and manufacturing business specialising in critical power testing equipment used across industries including power , data centres, marine, defence and industrial manufacturing. They are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to become a key driver of Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities across the production environment.Key responsibilities for this Manufacturing Technician position based near Stamford:Participate in Kaizen events, process improvement initiatives and 5S projects across the manufacturing facilitySupport the implementation of visual management systems, standard work practices and workplace organisation improvementsLead small-scale continuous improvement projects and Quick Kaizen activities to eliminate waste and improve efficiencySupport Root Cause Analysis activities using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone and PDCAAssist with the documentation and tracking of continuous improvement activities and their resultsConduct informal 5S audits and support compliance with standardised work processesHelp develop and maintain standard work documentation across manufacturing operationsRequirements for this Manufacturing Technician position based near Stamford:Proven experience working within a manufacturing or production environmentDemonstrable experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles on the shop floorKnowledge of Lean tools including 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management and Waste Identification (TIMWOODS)Experience supporting problem-solving and continuous improvement activities using Root Cause Analysis methodologiesThe role offers:Opportunity to become a recognised Lean Subject Matter Expert within the businessStructured development within Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing OperationsWork within a highly respected engineering and manufacturing environmentLong-term career progression opportunitiesIf your experience matches the above, to apply for this Manufacturing Technician position based near Stamford, please send your CV to or call Kyle on 01582 878817.TPBN1_UKTJ
