Our client is a highly respected, financially strong top ENR General Contractor with a significant presence across the commercial, industrial, and technology sectors. With continued growth across the Data Center / Mission Critical market, they are looking to appoint a senior construction leader to lead and grow their presence across Georgia and the Carolinas.

This is a senior regional leadership opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a proven background in data center and mission-critical construction, combining operational leadership, major project delivery, client development, and regional market growth.
\n
The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and expanding the company's presence across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, while providing senior oversight of major projects throughout the region.

The Opportunity
\n
The Market Lead will take ownership of the company's Georgia & Carolinas Data Center / Mission Critical market, working closely with clients, developers, design partners, subcontractors, project teams, and senior leadership.
\n
\n
The role will combine major project leadership with regional business development and team growth, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to shape the company's long-term presence across the Southeast.
\n
\n
You will be responsible for developing key client relationships, supporting pursuits and preconstruction, overseeing project delivery, and helping build a high-performing regional team.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
• Lead major Data Center / Mission Critical projects from preconstruction through commissioning and final turnover
\n
• Take senior ownership of project financial performance, forecasting, schedules, risk, quality, and safety
\n
• Develop and maintain relationships with major data center owners, developers, and key project stakeholders
\n
• Lead the company's growth strategy across Georgia and the Carolinas
\n
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the regional data center market
\n
• Support client development, pursuits, proposals, and preconstruction activities
\n
• Provide senior leadership across project teams, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
\n
• Review contracts, scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and project execution strategies
\n
• Oversee complex MEP coordination, commissioning, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
\n
• Lead subcontractor procurement, vendor management, workforce planning, and project staffing
\n
• Help recruit, develop, and retain the regional project team
\n
• Review constructability, logistics, phasing, prefabrication, and modular construction strategies
\n
• Work closely with senior leadership to establish the long-term regional strategy
\n
\n
Data Center / Mission Critical Experience
\n
Candidates should have significant experience delivering large-scale data center or mission-critical projects.
\n
Experience across areas such as:

• Hyperscale Data Centers
\n
• Mission Critical Facilities
\n
• Critical Power Infrastructure
\n
• Mechanical & Electrical Systems
\n
• Cooling & HVAC Systems
\n
• Redundancy / Resiliency
\n
• Commissioning & Integrated Systems Testing
\n
• Prefabrication & Modular Construction
\n
• Complex MEP Coordination
\n
Experience taking projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover is highly desirable.

What We're Looking For
\n
• 10+ years of progressive construction experience
\n
• 5+ years of Data Center / Mission Critical construction experience
\n
• Proven experience leading large, multi-million-dollar projects
\n
• Strong understanding of complex MEP systems and commissioning
\n
• Experience with Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
\n
• Strong financial and commercial project management capabilities
\n
• Proven client-facing leadership and relationship management experience
\n
• Business development and client development experience highly beneficial
\n
• Experience building and leading project teams
\n
• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
\n
• Willingness to travel throughout Georgia and the Carolinas
\n
