About the Role
Guardian Data is seeking a high-performing MBA Intern to support the SVP of Operations and Chief Financial Officer on high-impact initiatives across pricing, financial reporting, technology enablement, market intelligence, and M&A. This role offers meaningful exposure to executive decision-making and enterprise-level financial and strategic projects.
The intern will work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Sales to deliver data-driven insights that directly influence business growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Pricing: Build pricing and revenue models to improve win rates, margins, and sales effectiveness
- Board & Executive Reporting: Develop and enhance Board and management reporting using Excel, NetSuite, and Power BI
- Technology Enablement: Support rollout and integration of a new enterprise management system with Sales and Finance platforms
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Research industry trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
- M&A Support: Research and model potential acquisition targets
Who We’re Looking For:
We value rigor, ownership, and initiative. The ideal candidate is:
- A current MBA student with a background in finance, strategy, operations, or analytics.
- Fluent in Excel modeling and data storytelling.
- Familiar with ERP/financial systems (NetSuite a plus).
- Skilled in competitive research and industry analysis.
- Interested in private equity-backed companies and growth-stage operations.
- A clear communicator who is highly organized, ethical, and eager to learn by doing.
