M&E Engineer – London / Kent (Full Time)

Hours: 40 hours per week + on-call rota

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our dynamic team, covering sites across London and Kent. In this role, you will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Electrical Installation tasks in line with scheduled requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine PPM, reactive, and remedial maintenance across various sites.

*

Perform electrical installation and testing as required.

*

Support and maintain critical systems including Air Conditioning, UPS, batteries, generators, and data centres.

*

Supervise subcontractors and ensure all work meets Health & Safety and Statutory requirements.

*

Accurately complete all maintenance and compliance documentation.

*

Participate in the on-call rota and work collaboratively with other mobile engineers.

*

Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies to ensure site compliance and performance.

About You

You’ll be a proactive engineer with strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality work in critical environments.

Essential Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a commercial or critical environment (e.g., data centres, telecoms, or similar).

*

City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable:

*

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing).

*

Experience with building services and HVAC systems.
